Thanks to a good turn up to the working bee on 16th and 17th October, it was easy to get the Club Rooms into shape. Well, done fellas. The whole building in- side and out will be treated for spiders and other crawlies on Wednesday 27th October. This will set us up for painting the exterior of the building and com- pletion of the rest of the 5 Stage Building Improvement Projects, through November and December. The new look Club House, plus a return to some sort of normal interaction with the community will be a wonderful start to the new year. Perhaps some twlight comps and sausage sizzles may evolve, and in the meantime, the BAC monthly Comps are an op- tion.

Great to see fisher people including kids around Little Lake Boort. Some Carp being caught, but also the odd Redfin, Yellow Belly and Silver Brim. Some good reports also from other lakes and rivers at times.
Ron and others had a wonderful trip to Northern Territory. Starting with time at sea on a charter with great catches of a wide variety of fish. After that, doing work on a cattle station where the barramundi and other fish and crabs were plentiful. Still hasn’t got the smile off his face and is almost certain to return next year.
There is a need for someone with contacts and local knowledge, who is willing to compile and supply reports on where and what fish are being caught with- in the Loddon Shire and nearby venues. These reports could potentially be monthly for part of the year and preferably fortnightly between say, October and Easter time, and may be published in ABOUT BOORT NEWSLETTER and THE LODDON HERALD.
