.

Approximately 12 club members participated in the competition, displaying their dedication in perfect weather conditions.

Despite the elusive primary target fish, European Carp catches were notable.

Steven Webster secured first place in the competition by reeling in impressive 39 cm and 32 cm Yellow Belly fish.

David Skinner angling skills shined as he claimed second place with a 36 cm Yellow Belly catch.

Anglers faced and conquered difficult fishing conditions, showcasing their skill and perseverance.

The event was characterised by a warm and friendly atmosphere, with participants engaging in campfire stories and bonding over shared experiences.

One highlight of the day was the save of a fishing rode after it was taken overboard then retrieved by Ethan who was excited as it was his brothers fishing rod and was very glad, he saved it.

The camaraderie among anglers fostered a sense of community within the Boort Angling Club and the wider angling community.

The Boort Angling Club's competition at Laanecoorie Lake Side Caravan Park was a success, thanks to the dedication and active participation of club members.

Congratulations to all participants, winners, and organizers for making the competition memorable and enjoyable.
